Your Workshop/Training Course/Product Demonstration will take place at the new intimate workshop space at Artbag Studio in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. Or on Zoom.
Minimum attendee age: 16+.Your place will only be confirmed once payment is received.
Your instructor will be international professional resin artist and sculptor, Debra Franses.
Many of our workshops involve you bringing some of your own items such as books or tickets to personalise your artwork, so please check with Debra in advance regarding the additional items that you can bring for your workshop.
Necessary safety clothing and equipment will be provided for relevant workshops.
You will have the option of either taking your incredible piece(s) home with you, or requesting that we package and ship them to you a few days later (packing and shipping prices will vary on size and destination).
Attendees will be able to purchase products in the Artbag Studio Gallery at discounted prices for cash or card payments.
Free parking is available – we have one allocated parking space; other parking spaces are on a first come, first served basis. We can also supply you with a list of recommended local accommodation should you be needing to stay over.
(You only need to read this section f you are going to be participating in a workshop that utilises resin).
The event lasts approximately 3 hours, with a coffee and biscuits included.
Resin is a versatile medium, offering the ability to express endless creativity. During the session, you will learn about working with different art grade resins, from introduction & basic techniques, to advanced processes. A range of opaque and metallic pigments will be made available for you to select and work with. All resins, pigments and additives will be supplied by Artbag Studio Ltd., as well as the moulds and canvases. The resins you will be using are all ASTM certified as nontoxic, non-hazardous and odourless. You will also get to grips with using resi-BLAST Dispersion media.

You will be provided with the necessary safety equipment including an apron, gloves, safety glasses and heat guns, but we still advise you not to wear your best clothes!

The Terms and Conditions below apply to all Artbag Studio Classes/Workshops/Training Courses/Product Demonstrations (hereafter referred to as “event”) held at the premises of Artbag Studio Ltd. in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom.
By making a booking, customers are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.
Bookings and Payment
Bookings can be made through the website www.artbagstudio.com or by email to email@example.com. Booking must include the name, current email address and emergency contact phone number of the person attending the event.
Full payment is required at the time of booking and all payments are processed via PayPal. Payments are usually processed via a PayPal account, however, if the customer does not have a PayPal account, PayPal will provide an option to process payments with a credit or debit card. Places are only secure upon receipt of full payment and completed booking email confirmation.
If a particular event becomes fully booked, customers will be offered an alternative date and time slot. Places are strictly allocated on a first come, first served basis and no places are given any priority.
Bookings will typically open on the website www.artbagstudio.com two weeks prior to the start of the first session and this date will be communicated to prospective attendees through email and social media (Facebook).
Clothing and Personal Safety
Debra Franses will show good working practice and teach you how to observe industrial hygiene to protect your clothes from the art materials used, however we accept no responsibility for any damage to your clothing and belongings before, during or after any events. Don’t wear your best clothing! For workshops involving resin, an apron, gloves, a mask and safety glasses will be provided. We accept no responsibility for injury, damage or loss during or after any events.
Cancellations and Refunds
After a booking and payment has been made online, the customer has a cooling off period of 14 working days to make a cancellation if they so wish in accordance with Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. To cancel a booking, customers must email firstname.lastname@example.org.
A full refund will be provided by PayPal if the request is made within 14 days of the initial booking (cooling off period).
If you have to cancel less than 48 hours prior to the day of arrival, we will do our best to help, but if we are unable to fill your place, we will not be able to refund the course fee; instead you will be offered a credit to be used on another occasion within 12 months.
If for any reason an event is cancelled by us, for example due to tutor illness, then a refund for that session will be issued or alternative dates be offered. If a session is cancelled due to unscheduled circumstances (for example, poor weather conditions or coronavirus restrictions) every attempt will be made to accommodate the attendees at alternative date events.
Concerns or complaints
Any concerns, issues or feedback (positive and negative) regarding the services provided by Artbag Studio Ltd. should be addressed to Debra Franses either by email to email@example.com prior to any external communication to ensure that the issue is dealt with in a professional and timely manner with the least possible disturbance to either party.
